Justin Lieberman has engineered and mixed in San Francisco and the Bay Area for over fourteen years, working with hundreds of great musicians on over one hundred commercially released albums, including Santana, Alanis Morissette, Oranger, Les Claypool, Vanessa Carlton, David Gray, Blackalicious, Westside Chemical, George Winston, Roy Hargrove, Slack Key legend Keola Beamer, Jonathan Richman, Eoin Harrington, and The MiGGs. Justin's received gold and multi-platinum RIAA certified awards for his involvement in the production of multiple award-winning albums. Justins passion for music began at the early age of five years old when he began taking guitar lessons. He began his professional career at Different Fur Recording in 1997. Different Fur's excellent reputation for acoustic recording was the foundation of Justins long relationship with Windham Hill Records. Justin engineered, edited, and assisted on many albums for Windham Hill from 1997 to 2004, including several albums with the GRAMMY® Award winning pianist, George Winston. In 2001 Justin had the pleasure of working with Carlos Santana on the album Shaman, earning a double platinum RIAA award.

Justin has been fortunate to work with some of the industrys best producers and engineers including Jim Gaines, Joe Chicarelli, Dave Frazer, Russ Elevado, Ross Hogarth, Howard Johnston, and many more. Each and every producer, engineer, and musician Justin has worked with has contributed to his passion for and understanding of music. Justin learned from his mentor, Bay Area legend Howard Johnston, how to provide a positive, comfortable, and creative environment in the studio.
